    Follow avenue de Breteuil to the golden dome, then walk down the wide esplanade to the Seine and the Pont Alexandre III.

    From the foot of the Tower, follow the river to the Esplanade Habib-Bourguiba. The Grand Palais across the water, in the light at the end of the day.

    Cross the Pont d’Iéna and climb through the gardens for the most famous view in Paris. Come early, when the gardens are still yours.
